Haha, that is funny! I think it was Steve Miller Band though :) I think the author Dave Barry(sp?) wrote a whole book about song lyrics that people often mess up like that.
It cracks me up! Oh, you're right. There've been a few I've misinterpreted too but I can think of them off the top of my head.
I know one that a lot of people get is Purple Haze "scuse me while I kiss this guy".
