Kinde looks like a lot of the towns we drive through on the way to Arizona! The picture of the ravioli has my mouth watering. It's nice to be pleasantly surprised by those small Mom&Pop restaurants. I feel like these places are overlooked these days because, many times, they don't have much of an online presence.
I think this place had a web page or maybe a Facebook page, but that was about it. It wasn't the best Italian I have ever had, but it was a nice surprise in the middle of nowhere.
A Facebook page is at least something! I think almost every new restaurant you try these days is a crapshoot, there are so many fake online reviews now. Also, food is such a subjective thing. I'm glad it worked out!
Yes, that is so true. I almost hate recommending places to our friends anymore. They clearly have different tastes than we do and most of the places that my wife and I love they find something to pick apart about it.
