Hello Hive! We are Monday and I hope you had an excellent weekend!
Here, that was indeed the case. So much so that I am very tired at the start of this week. Normally, I publish an Actifit activity report, but this time, it will be about this magnificent community that I also read quite regularly.
Last week, the workload was quite significant, and it will be the same until Christmas. Friday evening, when coming back from my run, I was so exhausted that I fell asleep right after my shower.
Then, I lit a fire in the stove and, with @altheana, we cooked some flammekueche (an Alsatian specialty). It’s been 2 Fridays that we have been doing this. It’s excellent and so easy to prepare!
Of course, since the new season of Stranger Things came out, we started watching it. At least episode 1, because afterward we went to bed.
Saturday morning, I went to get some bread and croissants at the bakery for breakfast. Then, @altheana started working and I went for a run. When coming back, I chopped some wood before getting ready and making food.
After the meal, @altheana got ready while I washed the car. Then we left for Paris to meet some friends in a bar before going to Vald’s concert, a French rapper who mixes several music styles, including techno since last year.
Before going to the bar, we stopped by to say hello to my sister who lives nearby in order to give her a sourdough brioche that we had prepared Friday evening and Saturday morning.
The concert started at 8 p.m. and ended at 11:30 p.m. By the time we went to get the car, found an open Burger King, and went to one of our friends’ places, it was already 1 a.m. We ate, talked a lot, and went to bed around 4 a.m. The next day, we woke up around 11 a.m. and, with @altheana, we took the car again at 12 p.m. to return home around 2 p.m.
When arriving home, I lit a fire, we ate, and we settled in front of the TV to watch Stranger Things. Then we fell asleep.
It had been a long time since we had gone to Paris to party. It completely exhausted us, but it also did us a lot of good.
Now, we will have to handle this new week. At breakfast, we told ourselves that we would take two weeks of vacation between Christmas and New Year’s Day.

Ici, ce fut effectivement le cas. Tellement même que je suis très fatigué en ce début de semaine. Normalement, je publie un rapport d'activité Actifit, mais cette fois, ce sera sur cette magnifique communauté que je lis également assez régulièrement.
La semaine dernière, la charge de travail était assez conséquente, et ce sera la même chose jusqu’à Noël. Vendredi soir, en rentrant de mon footing, j’étais tellement épuisé que je me suis endormi juste après ma douche.
Ensuite, j’ai allumé un feu dans le poêle et, avec @altheana, nous avons cuisiné des flammekueche (une spécialité alsacienne). Cela fait 2 vendredis que nous faisons ça. C’est excellent et tellement simple à préparer !
Bien sûr, puisque la nouvelle saison de Stranger Things est sortie, nous avons commencé à la regarder. Tout du moins l’épisode 1, car ensuite nous sommes partis nous coucher.
Samedi matin, je suis allé chercher du pain et des croissants à la boulangerie pour le petit déjeuner. Puis, @altheana s’est mise au travail et je suis parti courir. En rentrant, j’ai fendu un peu de bois avant de me préparer et de faire à manger.
Après le repas, @altheana s’est préparée pendant que je lavais la voiture. Puis nous sommes partis direction Paris pour rejoindre des amis dans un bar avant d’aller au concert de Vald, un rappeur français qui mélange plusieurs styles de musique, dont la techno depuis l’année dernière.
Avant d’aller au bar, nous avons fait un coucou à ma sœur qui habite dans le coin afin de lui donner une brioche au levain que nous avions préparée vendredi soir et samedi matin.
Le concert a débuté à 20 h et s’est terminé à 23 h 30. Le temps d’aller chercher la voiture, de trouver un Burger King ouvert et d’aller chez l’un de nos amis, il était déjà 1 h du matin. Nous avons mangé, beaucoup discuté et nous nous sommes couchés vers 4 h du matin. Le lendemain, nous nous sommes réveillés vers 11 h et, avec @altheana, nous avons repris la voiture à 12 h pour rentrer chez nous vers 14 h.
En rentrant à la maison, j’ai allumé un feu, nous avons mangé et nous nous sommes installés devant la télé pour regarder Stranger Things. Puis nous nous sommes endormis.
Cela faisait longtemps que nous n’avions pas été à Paris pour faire la fête. Cela nous a complètement épuisés, mais ça nous a aussi fait le plus grand bien.
Maintenant, il va falloir assumer cette nouvelle semaine. Au petit déjeuner, nous nous sommes dit que nous prendrions deux semaines de vacances entre Noël et le jour de l’An.
