I saw an image of a Chinese Moth and decided to do a quick study of it. According to ancient Chinese folklore, the Moth signifies the spirit of of dead ancestors. Do you believe in folklore?
I read more about them and found out they do not feed because they are physically unable to, they only live off the fat stored in their abdomen which are reserves they built up as caterpillars. Their life expectancy is generally between 6 to 14 days and the females tend to live longer than the males.
