Lovely sight. Well worth the walk up there but someone obviously didn't think so when he/she was dragged into the walk and somehow had some spray paint ready.

It's quite possible it was a pre-meditated crime! Ha ha. It's funny... since graffiti officially became an art form, I find a lot of beauty and humor in it.
Yes, I agree and I think the person should be one of those who plan to be able to do his/her art anytime.
