Heute war der erste Arbeitstag nach dem Urlaub, und das Gefühl von Erholung ist schneller verflogen, als mir lieb war. Ich hatte gehofft, dass es etwas ruhiger losgeht, aber das war nicht der Fall. Naja, neues Jahr, neues Glück, wie man so schön sagt.
Nach der Arbeit war ich direkt im Fitnessstudio, und es war brechend voll. Viele neue Gesichter, die ich noch nie zuvor gesehen habe. Ich bin gespannt, wie viele davon durchhalten. Ich drücke jedem Einzelnen die Daumen, denn jeder hat sicher seine Gründe, warum er angefangen hat. Der erste Schritt ist jedenfalls gemacht, und das ist schon mal super.
Im Fitnessstudio war ich heute über eine Stunde auf dem Laufband, da meine Schulter immer noch Probleme macht. Ich habe versucht, isolierte Übungen für Trizeps und Bizeps zu machen, aber auch das war nicht möglich. Brust- und Schulterübungen sind aktuell komplett ausgeschlossen. Ich denke, ich werde doch zum Arzt gehen müssen. Trotzdem war das Laufen heute überraschend gut – es hat besser funktioniert, als ich gedacht hätte.
Was das Essen angeht: Auf der Arbeit wurden wir heute eingeladen, und ich hatte Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln. Abends gab es Minuten-Hähnchenschnitzel in Kräutermarinade mit Reis. Damit komme ich heute auf etwa 2000 Kalorien. Ich habe außerdem von Aldi das Clearway Fresh Orange ausprobiert – 30 Gramm Pulver haben 24 Gramm Protein bei knapp 100 Kalorien. Es hat überraschend gut geschmeckt. Insgesamt ein super Defizit heute und ein guter Start ins neue Jahr.

Today was the first workday after the holidays, and the feeling of vacation disappeared faster than I’d like. I was hoping for a calm start, but that wasn’t the case. Well, new year, new luck, as they say.
After work, I went straight to the gym, and it was absolutely packed. So many new faces I’ve never seen before. I’m curious how many of them will stick with it. I’m rooting for every single one because everyone has their reasons for starting. At least they’ve taken the first step, which is great.
At the gym, I spent over an hour on the treadmill since my shoulder is still acting up. I tried isolated triceps and biceps exercises, but that didn’t work either. Chest and shoulder exercises are completely off the table. I think I’ll need to see a doctor soon. Still, the running went surprisingly well – much better than I expected.
As for food: At work, we were treated to lunch, and I had schnitzel with fried potatoes. In the evening, I had marinated chicken schnitzel with rice. That puts me at around 2000 calories for the day. I also tried Clearway Fresh Orange from Aldi – 30 grams have 24 grams of protein and only 100 calories. It tasted surprisingly good. Overall, it was a great calorie deficit today and a solid start to the new year.

Bis jetzt bin ich auch echt zufrieden. Wusste bis jetzt nicht das Aldi das hat.
Die haben das irgendwann letztes Jahr eingeführt und dauerhaft im Sortiment. Den Blackberry finde ich aber nicht so lecker.
Wir haben jetzt auch mal den Protein-Kaffee von dort probiert und der ist auch ganz gut.
Allerdings sind die auch nicht günstiger als ESN wenn man dort auf die Rabatte und Codes achtet.

Das Berufsleben ist erbarmungslos und holt uns schneller ein als uns Lieb ist. Naja, machste nix. Bzw das Beste draus.
Fitnesstudio klingt in deiner Verfassung nicht wirklich toll. Motiviert zu starten und so gebremst zu werden, das ist ätzend.
Ich drücke tatsächlich auch jedem die Daumen, dass die angepeilte Veränderung nachhaltig ist, andersherum drücke ich aber auch dir die Dauemn, dass du bald wieder deine Ruhe hast im Studio 🤣
Essenstechnisch klingt das wirklich gut. Einladungen schaden nie und Abends einen Happen, top!
