The weather and also the temperatures were perfect today for a little bike ride to a nearby lake.
The lake is very popular in summer, but I was surprised that so many people were there (while the Corona crisis is not over yet) and some of them enjoyed the sun and the day in larger groups.
Many times in the news it can be read that a "second wave" is to be expected due to the again increasing infection numbers in Germany.
I think the coming autumn and winter will still have some challenges for us regarding "Corona". . . of course not only in Germany.
Das Wetter und auch die Temperaturen waren heute perfekt für eine kleine Radtour zu einem nahegelegenen See.
Der See wird im Sommer sehr gerne besucht, dennoch war ich überrascht, dass so viele Menschen da waren (während die Corona Krise noch nicht vorüber ist) und teilweise auch in größeren Gruppen die Sonne und den Tag genossen haben.
Vielfach ist in den Nachrichten zu lesen, dass aufgrund der wieder ansteigenden Infektionszahlen in Deutschland eine "zweite Welle" zu befürchten ist.
Ich denke, der kommende Herbst und Winter werden hinsichtlich "Corona" noch einige Herausforderungen für uns parat haben . . . natürlich nicht nur in Deutschland.

I think you are right, @actifit-peter. We long for what was; 'normalcy', but the new normal is anything but. I think too, that because people long for what was, they quickly 'forget' to take precautions. Now, add the flu in when fall comes, and I think we might be in for a ride.
