During my strolls through neighboring towns and fields in my area, I notice more and more nesting boxes for insects and especially wild bees. 20 - 30 cm long bamboo tubes are pushed into a larger plastic tube and are supposed to provide space for the insects to keep their eggs.
With some of such nesting aids, I can actually see on closer inspection that they are inhabited.
Bei meinen Streifzügen durch benachbarte Orte und Felder in meiner Gegend bemerke ich zunehmend Nisthilfen für Insekten und insbesondere Wildbienen. 20 - 30 cm lange Bambusröhrchen werden in ein größeres Kunststoffrohr geschoben und sollen den Insekten Platz für ihre Brut bieten.
Bei einigen derartigen Nisthilfen sehe ich bei näherem Hinsehen tatsächlich, dass diese bewohnt sind.
