We are excited to present another update on Actifit's development activity, with the release of actifit.io v1.4.0

Main Updates

As part of this update, we have launched version 1.4.0 of our web portal actifit.io, with a focus on the below:

  • Hive Communities Page: We have been putting a lot of effort throughout the year to make Actifit a larger scale portal to Hive and its ecosystem. Introducing communities made a lot of sense to open up the doors to our users to see more of what Hive has to offer.
With this integration, users now have more visibility over other communities and the content generated by those communities is accessible straight from the Actifit experience, with stats such as number of subscribers, authors, posts, and pending payouts. Admins of the community are also listed, as well as a brief description and the date of creation of the community.
We have created a new entry point via the top menu called Communities

Clicking on that menu item would redirect the user to a view showing a listing of hive communities sorted by Rank (by default).
    image.png
You could switch the sorting to Rank, # of subscribers, or by newest created communities.
You could also search for a specific community by typing a keyword, which matches the title or the description of the community

If you are logged in, you could also filter by subscribed communities, which will only show your currently subscribed communities.
Also logged in users are able to subscribe or unsubscribe from a specific community by clicking the relevant subscribe/unsubscribe button.
Each community will also have a posts link button (see above), which would redirect to the relevant posts screen of this community. See below for more details

  • Hive Community Posts: We have also created a new page that would render the posts for a community.

The posts are sorted by Trending, Hot or New.
Any posts which have been pinned by the community mods will have a Pin icon, and will be highlighted in yellow (see above).
You can interact with posts as you would do with any other posts/reports screens on actifit.io.
Additionally, curators mode is enabled on this screen, whereby you could easily move between posts in the popup mode to make curation much easier.

  • Additional improvements and fixes:

    • Improve user menu (right side) by making it scrollable with fixed height.
    • Improve main menu display by removing needless items and fixing overlapping user rank.
    • Fix comments sorting bug particularly affecting payouts
    • Improve login functionality by auto username conversion to lowercase and trimming extra spaces.
    • Adjust Hiveauth login instructions to support tapping
    • SEO Improvements for Actifit.io by appending canonical links across several page templates.
