It brings us great pleasure to kick off 2024 with development updates.
This update spans both our Android and our web experience.
Android V0.10.4 Updates
Our newest release for Android covers 2 key areas, focusing on 3speak video experience and key management via QR code. Below are some of the new features and improvements:
3Speak Video UX:
- Show encoding percentage for 3speak vids if not complete: This allows the user to keep track of their video upload progress. As of this release, next to your video status, you will notice progress percentage for the encoding process.
- Implement video deletion feature, recently added by 3speak team, which would completely remove the video off the hosted list.
- Extend wait time for loading 3speak vids: We have extended the waiting time and the retries to fetch user data, as we've had prior reports of timeouts due to server load.
- fix issue with proper display of uploaded video size: Uploaded videos were showing 0MB size upon upload. This issue has now been fixed.
Key Management via QR Codes:
- To make our UX smoother, we have added new QR scan buttons next to the login and the settings areas, whereby you can scan your keys from actifit.io (posting or active) and dynamically load them onto the app to login faster or store your active key to use it for wallet and/or market transactions for purchasing gadgets.

Additional Changes/Fixes:
- Remove Christmas theme: as we transitioned back to normal mode, we have brought back the traditional logo of the app.
- Fix issue with upvote showing for all comments by the logged-in user.
- Fix upvote crash issue on comments.
- Other minor fixes.
Actifit.io Enhancements
In alignment with our mobile app work for key management, We have improved the password management screen by adding QR code generation, so that transitioning the keys over to the mobile app is much smoother.
Additionally, we have setup a limitation on the number of beneficiaries while creating a video from the web version, to be aligned with 3speak video requirements in terms of allowing only up to 5 beneficiaries per video post.
