It brings us great pleasure to provide a new update to our Actifit Android experience!
Android V0.11.1 Updates
Our newest release for Android comes bundled with several key features we've been working on for the past month, so make sure to update your app to benefit from the newest features and bug fixes
Ecency Waves Integration
- We have integrated ecency waves into the actifit experience. We love the threads approach being used on hive, and we want to see it grow.
So as of now, users can spot a new "waves" icon on the app main screen right next to the "Post & Earn" button.
Clicking on the button will open your waves display, whereby you can wave to others, or just view and interact with others' waves.
While writing your wave, you can show/hide the preview, but you can also upload images onto waves.
When you wave via actifit app, the app will also track your current activity count, and the count will show just below your wave on actifit app.
Waves are of course eligible for upvotes. We might have soon some additional collaboration or reward system for waves. So start waving!
Free Referral Signup Links
- Recently we had our in app poll regarding new signup approaches to actifit, and the majority had selected free referral signup links. So we are excited to bring this to you as of this update.
As of now, using the android app, you can generate free signup links if you have reached a minimum of 5 rewarded activity reports, starting on January 10th, 2024.
If you are eligible, opening the referral screen on the app will allow you to claim 5 free signup links that you can share with your friends/family.
Once those 5 links have been all used up, and once you reach 5 new rewarded activity reports, you become eligible again to claim 5 new free referral signup links!
Additional Changes/Fixes:
Vote Weight Setting: Similarly to the web experience, the app now includes a setting to specify your default vote weight. This setting syncs with the web version so that you have a standard weight across both platforms.
New Vote Control Buttons. We added +10/-10% vote increase to make it easier to adjust your voting weight
New Activity Type Available (Fitness Gaming)
Fixes for crashes on upvote/comment.
Other minor fixes.

I would like to place the option from the phone to be able to share from Actifit to other communities, as well as to add calisthenics as one of the activities since there is also quite a lot of movement in that sport, very good update, greetings.
The ecency integration is awesome! Really cool development!
Is it planned for IOS too?
Is there an option to add a beneficiary?
