Hello all. I hope you are well. I saw 2 deer on my walk today. They were so beautiful. I love their delicate legs and head.
The red tree looks like it’s on fire. The leaves are of a very brilliant red color.
It was raining today and I didn’t mind. The air was fresh and clean to breathe. It felt very nice to breath in clean air.
I love the bright yellow leaves which light up the woods and countryside.
The yellow leaves were incredible to see with each tree having its own intricate patterns of yellow color.
I loved the moss pattern on the ground in this picture. The moss was covering tree roots on the floor of the earth.
This was the most beautiful road I have found since I moved here over 3 years ago. The trees and woods are treasure to behold.

Deer are always so sweet!
The wind and the rain have certainly done a number on the leaves around here, and too, it appears somewhat that way there. There are still some die hard leaves that are hanging on for sure, and the brilliant firey red one are beautiful!
This is moss' favorite time of year; now through April, when it's wet and damp and cool! It will stay a vibrant green throughout this season!

You are very welcome sis! Yes, we have tons of moss! There are places in the forest where it's very tempting to just lay down and take a little nap. A couple of things stop me though; the spiders that roam and of course, sleeping with a cougar on the prowl isn't a wise thing to do either, lol!

That is wonderful that you have tons of moss @elizabethbit Sis! Moss is so beautiful and there is a lot on the Peninsula and even the North side of Mt. Rainier has a mossy forest! The road there has been closed a long time though. I loved that side of the mountain 😃 💟 I think it was called the Carbon River Entrance. The one that is open most of the time is The Mowich Lake Entrance on the North side of Mt. Rainier! Yes very smart not to lay in the moss with a cougar prowling around 😱 I understand that feeling of wanting to lay in the moss. Mom and I wanted to lay in the moss years ago when we hiked together at Mt. Rainier and saw a thick carpet of moss.
