A busy day getting ready for upcoming cycle trip. First task is to find where my stuff is - then assemble it all in piles ready for the road. Trip up to hardware to get WD40 to set free a zipper stuck on my tent bag. Then to storage unit to find camping gear.
Zipper job took a few hours - spray, wait, tug. Think about plan B. Did get it open. Then went for a walk to put the car away - nice sunset but hard to get settings right for the photo
Myrtle flower
Strelitzia flower always catches my eye. It was the symbol for my army regiment - 6 SA Infantry - nearly 50 years ago that began - June 1974
Tried some angles to avoid the cars and the buildings and to get the evening light - a bit of cropping needed
Good progress on the day - tomorrow will be at home getting stuff in place. A few gaps to fill
Dinner: Cottage pie made with last night bolognese sauce. Really liked the way the topping came up - done in airfryer. Apologies for the poor focus on photo
Late night - neighbour came over for a drink - talked investing
Trade action: Bought FMC, NXE. Adjusted CDE.
