Was a tough night. It rained hard all night. Was sleeping in small lots and then the next heavy rain started. And it rained all day. Did my best to keep busy with weekly investing post almost ready to go. And the rain kept coming
Had to get out with a plan. Boots on and umbrella to walk to the river and loop back to bowling club - plan to join. Photo theme is easy - raindrop garden flowers
Pink hibiscus - they do get smashed by too much rain
A few Australian natives - grevillea
West Australian bottlebrush
Multiple shades of colour on this grevillea
Two tone at the front of the Shoalhaven Heads Botanic Gardens
Side wall of the men's shed. They did a fabulous job resending my son-in-law's coffee table. Might join when we move down here
Did get a photo of the river. Rain pelting down now
Double camellia holding shape in the wet
Strelitzia are still going strong
It was wet - drainage is not great
Lapwing is relishing the wet - easy to find food
Fab protea in one of the gardens - reminds me of my home country - South Africa ..
Rainy view of the mountain - been like that for days
Striking yellow of this grevillea
Matched by this hibiscus
Joined the bowling club - taken 2 years since we bought our place. Did not have to drink alone. Sunday is badge draw day and a few of the people in our street were there. Not my idea of fun starting to drink at 4 pm. The boys drank 2 beers for my one. I left after 2 -still raining.
Made pizza for dinner - fitting pizza cutter for Stage 2 of Giro D'Italia
