Back to Sydney for Gordon camelias : May 14 2024

in Actifit6 months ago (edited)

Need to go to Sydney to pick up my new bicycle wheel. Plan is to train up and then stay at home one night - then train back. Drove to Kiama to get the train

Found this neat coffee shop in an apartment block right next to the station. Coffee was good and van is uber cool

Picture off the end of the platform - can just get a glimpse of the sea sparkling on a sparkling day

Photo back down to the old station building - they have put the men's loos down this end. Lovely day for a train ride - good views

Redfern station for changeover to get to Hornsby where my bike shop is - quick change - never been on this loop - sorry no photos

Did get photo of clock tower at Hornsby station on the way back to Gordon

New wheel is built. Took a while to source a rim - Sun C18 looking a lot more flash than the originals. Bought sushi for my lunch. Train to Gordon - booked appointment for haircut tomorrow. Headed home. Started the orchid watering project

Walked out late to buy dinner and a few things to be in place for next one day visit UHT milk, mini bottles of tonic, cryovac dinner for next week.

It is camellia season

Autumn colours down Cecil Street - did the loop walk down the hill to get steps up

Double camellia

White form - sometimes called egg and bacon flower

Steps done is amazing - spent a lot of the day on the train but somehow got the steps in. The lesson is to add in a long loop on every chore walk. I did.

Dinner: Lamb BBQ.

Trade action: caught with a few stocks that could go to assignment. Sold puts at or below assigned strike - ABN.AS, FVRR, NOK, SPWR, FMC.

The shape of the modified car looks very cool

Was not expecting to see a Kombi inside the building. Coffee lady was lovely too - will stop each time now

It sounds really good and very impressive
