that made me just want to write this here.
Have you ever asked someone why they like/love you?
Did they go about saying, oh i love your smile, what if you stopped smiling?
Oh look at you, who wouldn't want you? You're beautiful. What if you have an accident and you stopped being beautiful?
Oh i love that you're a nice ,kind person. What if in the long run, you stop being a kind, nice person?
What if you suddenly change from all the reasons why people love you, does that mean they stop loving you?
I believe when you like someone, you like them for 'THEM'.
I don't think you should like someone for a reason.
I can remember one time i was asked 'why do you like your bestfriend ' I can remember saying, 'i dont know, i just like her'.
I didn't need a reason to like her because the reason might one day wear off and then i stop liking her. however having no reason at all and liking her for HER, has been what have kept this friendship rolling for 10years and counting.
Ask your favorite people why they like you and listen to their reason.
Some of them might not even have a reason.

But if you genuinely like a person because they are "themselves" and they change to the point that they are no longer "themselves" ... it is understandable that the "like" or amount of "like" may change because the person is no longer all the things that made them likable to begin with.

If I liked A, B, C about you and you become X, Y, Z .... its fair to say that you are no longer what originally made me like you and unless I like X, Y, Z the same as I like A, B, C my "like" for you may increase or decrease or cease to exist.

Just a thought.
