The past 4 weeks I have been running three times a week with intervals of work and rest of 300 and 200. This is to reduce the pressure on my knees and also help with my recovery from my back injury which had given me some sciatic nerve issues on the right side,
Today though. Was different, today was my first 5klm run, nonstop. The weather was cool, though about 90% humidity. I stick to the flats in general as I work on getting the kilometres into my legs and also not to place undue pressure on my back.,
Got through the run though my knee has a little soreness, but that could be because I am about 5-7 kg over my old running weight and I haven’t run much at all over the last 2 years. Good start, looking to keeping the rehab and running going.
