I don't envy you traveling into London regularly. Did you have to climb the stationary escalator? It kills the legs doesn't it?
That's a marvelous picture of the Shard. I took a trip to the London eye several years ago. On the way up the wheel I said where is the shard? I couldn't see it. But then it appeared behind a building half way up!

I had to go down the escalator. I think they stopped people coming up and down just after me so that they could restart them. Its quite a long way down at London Bridge.
The Shard does look nice doesn't it? I love it down by the river at night.
