What a nightmare. Tech is sometimes a blessing, other times a curse. My wife has a '25 Subaru Forestor hybrid that is giving us fits. It has less than 10k on the odometer, only gets 2-3 more mpg than the non-hybrid, has been recalled twice, and has a super glitchy infotainment system.

So much for the reliable Japanese Subaru... Toyota hybrids seem to be less prone to issues though...
They use Toyota’s hybrid system (which is great on Toyotas) but it doesn’t seem to pair well with Subaru’s boxer engine. We've nicknamed the hybrid "Forester Gump".
