I mean, the usual post thing is an OK proof, but a simple custom JSON might do as well. Then report that on the front end. Occasionally then, when users wanna use the front end to post, it could just capture a base template for the post (like some sort is already happening) and then post about the user stats in a more comprehensive way. This would reduce the amount of posts yes... but will also increase the quality of the community.
