The well cover ended up being too far from my original plan, so I decided to take it apart a bit and do things differently. This way, I could prevent too big obvious holes for the larger rats or mice to get in and avoid adding small planks on top of each other to correct the decisions made before those planks. A simple plan is the best plan.
Screw and saw.
Mice blockers. Until the rats sink their teeth in on whatever they want to sink their teeth in and just go wherever they want to go.
A couple of boards more.
The two support boards screwed back, but now not in the way of other boards.
White dye and linen oil.
Gray.
And red.
