Today I took my 2 kids to the library on foot.
My older son, who is in 4th grade, used to read a little more, but lately he has been tempted by games, iPad, YouTube, smart phones, etc., so he has less time to read. It is the same for me. But I still want to read books and I want my children to read books too... So we decided to go to the library for the first time in a while.
At the library, each person can borrow up to 10 books. However, if we borrow too many books, we are heavy and difficult to return, and may end up not being able to read them all before the due date, so today we decided to borrow only two books per person.
It was warm during the day, and I was even lightly sweating when I went there wearing a jacket. Daffodils were in bloom, and I felt the arrival of spring.
I have been gaining weight since last year... My weight is approaching the highest point in my life, and I am beginning to think that I must do something about it. If I lose one kilogram a month from now on, I should be able to lose 10 kilograms by the end of this year... I'll do my best!

今日は子どもたちを連れて、歩いて図書館へ行きました。
小4の長男は以前はもう少し本を読んでいたのですが、最近はゲーム、iPad、YouTube、スマホなど誘惑が多く、本を読む時間が減ってしまいました。それは私も同じです。でもやっぱり本は読みたいし、子どもにも読ませたいんだよなあ… ということで、久しぶりに図書館へ行くことにしたのです。
図書館では、一人10冊まで借りられます。ただあまりたくさん借りると返すときに重くて大変だし、結局読み切れないまま返却期限を迎えてしまったりするので、今日は一人2冊だけ借りることにしました。
日中は暖かく、上着を着て行ったら軽く汗をかくほどでした。スイセンの花も咲いていて、春の訪れを感じました。
実は昨年から体重が増える一方で… 体重は過去最高に近づきつつあり、ちょっとまずいなと思い始めています。2月ももうすぐ終わり。これから1ヶ月に1kgずつ減らせば、今年中に10㎏落とせる・・・はず！
