So happy you got in a hike! Do your trails stay super muddy right after several days of rain? That is our problem in North Texas, because we have mostly clay soil! You have to wear good hiking shoes so you don't slip!

Most of the trails are covered in big leaf maple leaves, but that unto itself can be challenging on hills! We all have hiking boots with good tread, so that helps a lot.
