The morning was fairly cool and all the rain last week had made the grass grow much faster than normal for this time of year, so I decided to spend an hour mowing the lawn before it got too high. I am not much of a fan of cutting the grass, but it was much more enjoyable doing the task in the cooler morning air that it was a few weeks ago when the temperature was in the upper 90s.
Later in the afternoon I spent a little time walking on the treadmill and of course Brownie wanted to go for a walk around the neighborhood before the heat returned.
