Last week with the Spanish language school and am also finding time to finally explore the places Gaudi was involved with designing and here's my trip this afternoon to Parc Guell!
And let me tell you how it was a place that required a loooot of walking if you really wanna see the monumental sights scattered in the area (their Map app helps), really wondering why this app only recorded 800 steps with those 2 hours and a half I took exploring this 17 hectare land...
Tip though, if you take the #24 bus route in Plaza Catalunya and get off at Ctra del Carmel-Albert Llanas, you'll find the closest entrance to be at the middle of the park (it's got stairs leading up or down the surrounding terrain), my suggestion is that you start with the upper monuments and sightsee your way down to the main entrance right here! Best to catch a last minute tour of the Casa Guarda at the entrance beside the Souvenir House as climbing the stairs in them provide these views of the iconic main stairway!
