On my last trip of Gaudi's works, here is supposedly the first project he got to handle with a house called, Casa Vicens! His creations make for such various themes yet still have a signature surrealism to it is absolutely amazing! Makes me think this was made out of Legos when this was actually contrstucted 5 decades earlier before those toys came out 😅.
The interior also holds different tiny details, quite more thought out than Palau Guell or La Pedrera, though this was relatively smaller than those two. Quite like the fact that there are a lot of sitting areas here too - a similarity to the Palau. The rooftop while not as diverse, and also smaller still has the genius architect's magic touch!
Quite enjoyed this week of exploring Antoni Gaudi's projects, catch myself sometimes looking at the smallest of details and I also realized that when observing his works, one must always remember to also look up at the ceilings 😉.
