Yesterday I logged 6,488 steps on @actifit, roughly 3,300 steps short of my daily 10K step goal. Majority of my steps were logged doing a few Instacart deliveries in the evening. In the afternoon I received a text from my neighbor, who owns a 300 acre farm adjacent to my property. Their dog managed to catch and kill the mangey fox that recently killed my ducks and chickens. Above is a picture of Emi the Pyrenees posing with her catch.

Is that polish mountain shepherd ? I used to have one? And what the hell happened to this dog on the floor
That’s a Great Pyrenees, and that’s a mangey fox on the ground that met the Pyrenees…
That is one of the mangier foxes I've seen. We have a few left out in my rural area (that the coyotes) haven't gotten. Everyone's henhouse is fairly tightly sealed out here. One fox will occasionally come by the neighbors to eat some of the cat food he puts out for the barn cats.

That which we love the way some animals and birds are, and if they die in this way, there is much trouble afterwards.
