Un paseo selvatico 🚵♀
Saludos a todos! En esta ocasión vengo a compartirles esta increíble experiencia que viví junto a mi equipo de ciclismo CostaneraBike. Tuve la dicha de poder documentar gran parte del recorrido y mas que todo la valentía jajaja ya que para mi soltar una mano de la bicicleta es todo un desafío. Espero que como yo puedan admirar parte de los hermosos paisajes del Edo. Anzoátegui y quizás si logran hacer buen uso de la orientación los invito a intentar esta ruta o si ya la conocen, pues volver a darle una vuelta.
Greetings to all! In this chance, I come to share with you this incredible experience that I lived with my cycling team CostaneraBike. I had the joy of being able to document much of the journey and most of all the courage hahaha because for me to let go of my hand from the bike is a challenge. I hope that, like me, you can admire part of the beautiful landscapes of Anzoategui State, possibly if you manage to make good use of the orientation, I invite you to try this route or if you already know it, then come back to give it a ride.
Después de alistarme, a las 6:30 am ya estaba en el punto de encuentro (el C.C. Plaza mayor) con otros 3 colegas ciclistas. A partir de allí rodamos hasta el elevado que da al hospital Luis Razetti para tomar la primera foto de salida oficial.
After getting ready, at 6:30 am, I was already at the meeting point (the C.C. Plaza Mayor) with three other fellow cyclists. From there, we rode to the elevated road that overlooks the Luis Razetti hospital to take the first official photo of the start.
Después de pasar por el hospital bajamos por la carretera Barcelona - El Rincon- San Diego aproximadamente a unos 7 minutos de camino nos encontramos con el Pedregal Country, de ahí en adelante es solo carretera, recto y mas recto.
After passing the hospital, we go down the road Barcelona - El Rincon - San Diego, approximately 7 minutes down the road we find the Pedregal Country, from there on it is just a road, straight and more straight.
Un poco mas tarde nos conseguimos una encrucijada donde tuvimos que pedir direcciones a un pueblerino que se encontraba de paso, solo para rectificar y yo aproveche para tomar una foto.
Later, we got to a crossroads where we had to ask directions from a passing villager, only to rectify then I took the opportunity to take a picture.
A medida que avanzábamos nos alejábamos más de la ciudad y nos envolvíamos en un ambiente totalmente rural, varias casas de campo y muchos terrenos, mucha vegetación y poca actividad humana.
As we moved further away from the city, we became enveloped in a rural environment, several country houses and lots of lands, lots of vegetation, and little human activity.
Algo que me sorprendió es que es un recorrido muy montañoso! muchas cuestas, algunas empinadas y otras regulares, mas de una vez me sacaron el aliento, es un verdadero reto.
Something that surprised me is that it is a very hilly route! Many slopes, some steep and some regular, more than once took my breath away. It is a real challenge.
Llegamos a Una localidad llamada el barrio Chupulún, este fue el punto medio del recorrido, paramos a tomar algunas fotografías y me tome la libertad de respirar el aire mas fresco de lo que va de año.
A place called Barrio Chupulún, this was the midpoint of the tour, we stopped to take some pictures, then I took the liberty to breathe the freshest air so far this year.
We traveled about 8 km of road, surrounded by lush trees and all kinds of wild bird songs. Although there was a lesser presence of villagers in a stretch, there enfolded us a peculiar aroma of roasted cashew by some of the houses were there, among other sensory experiences. I share this photo of a fruit that we got along the way, a small tree of cherries, totally delicious, had smaller seeds between the pulp of the more mature fruits had more sweetness while the most tender maintained acidity. After about 5 km, we came across this hill of considerable difficulty, perhaps not noticeable in the photo but it was monstrous hahaha. We gathered our strength and courage and continued our journey.
We arrived at a small sector with a few houses and a cabin with a casabe production. We stopped to rest, drink water and have a snack. We left the bikes nearby and rested surrounded by a very refreshing countryside view. It is worth mentioning the presence of wildlife, a few chickens, donkeys, dogs, and all kinds of insects.
Retomamos la ruta por 10 minutos hasta llegar por fin a la entrada de El Francés, donde paramos en una corriente de agua que se prestaba muy bien para unas fotos y terminar de disfrutar el paseo.
We resumed the route for 10 minutes until we finally reached the entrance to El Francés, where we stopped at a stream that lent itself very well for some photos and to finish enjoying the ride.
Y así, dimos retorno y regresamos sanos y salvos a nuestros hogares, personalmente me pareció una experiencia muy relajante y divertida, poder vivir y disfrutar de estos pequeños y peculiares lugares en el estado Anzoátegui es algo que debemos apreciar y parte de ese aprecio es cuidar estos ambientes, evitar contaminarlos con basura y preservarlos lo mas posible. Este es una de las tantas rutas que recorro en mi bicicleta, atentos que pronto estaré compartiendo mas, sin nada mas que agregar los dejo con la ruta marcada en Google maps solo de ida.
And so, we returned safe and sound to our homes, personally, I found it a very relaxing and fun experience, to live and enjoy these small and peculiar places in the state of Anzoátegui is something we should appreciate then part of that appreciation is to take care of these environments, avoid polluting them with garbage and preserve them as much as possible. This is one of the many routes that I ride my bike. Stay tuned I will be sharing more soon with anything else to add I leave you with the route marked on Google maps only one way.
