Today I had planned my usual Sunday morning walk. Nothing in particular about today's walk apart that I was listening to some crypto podcast talking about the death spiral of Terra. More on that for another time.
As I was approaching the end of my walk I received a Whats App from a friend of mine that I had not seen for a while. He had just asked me if I fancied a walk.... I had a thought and then offered to meet him for a walk. Little did he knew that I was just finishing mine!! But hey, this week I barely averaged 2K steps per day, so I took this as a double challenge.
I met my friend and his dog. His dog is also called Poppy, so we went out for a double Poppy walk 😃😃
We walked and talked all the way. At one point I had a glimpse at my Actifit and I was so surprised. Actifit was only registering 10K steps whilst I was sure I was on around 16K( I had been on the road for about 2 hours!!)
I continued my walk with my friend, then said our good-byes and headed home. Upon getting home I found out that Actifit had missed around 7K steps. See my Google Fit screenshot... Anyone had this experience before?
@awah I saw that you had an issue this week where Actifit was not running. But my Actifit was going all the way!
Hey ho, Actifit steps are not the most important, the aching legs are ☺️

My problem was because of the app not actually running.
Yours is a bit strange though. I do get a difference between Actifit and my Samsung/Google step count. However, mine is the other way around. My Actifit is always slightly higher. So strange. You could ask on the Actifit Discord perhaps.

I found it can be a little overzealous with that ticked though.. lol

I wish I could use my Garmin watch with it, I find it a little more accurate.
