So we went on a hike yesterday to Chipmunk Point in Roanoke, WV.
I nice mile trail up and down some hills. The photo above is the first lookout point. Then you walk a little further down the trail and there is access to
A Small Beach on the West Fork River
The kids and the dog decided that they couldn't resist the urge to swim in the river. So, without swimsuits or towels they took a dip. Water was pretty warm.
A couple of kayakers came and asked us for directions on how to get to that area. We showed them the route we took and they thanked us.
A Gaggle of Ducks
came by to say hello. Their mother saw the dog and made sure her kids didn't get too close.
I'm sure we'll be going back there soon.
Then it started raining so we headed back to the cabin.
Pizza Night
It rained most of the night so we made pizzas and played some family games.
