I've been curious what it would be like cooking with traditional fats like beef tallow/fat or lard, but apart from butter it's mainly these seed oils in the diet.
Didn't seem to react too bad. I didn't overdo it this time. Being awake late in the night with a bad response is something I don't wish to revisit..
My son cooks with beef tallow and it's good. I purchased a pound of lard at the store, but haven't used it yet.
I do use mainly olive oil (cold pressed) mostly, and try to stay away from the seed oils. One day, when I get a hankering for french fries, I'll do the lard.
