During my dollar store shopping yesterday I picked up a foam exercise roller. It wasn't really a piece of equipment I had a burning desire to have but for $5 (obviously a cheapie) I decided to give it a try.
After watching a few videos of roller exercises I gave it a spin. Can't say it's a favorite but there were a few rolling and stretching moves I found quite pleasant and useful.
Beyond the rolling and a dumbbell workout this morning, I alternated between sitting (reading & writing) and walking. Walked granddaughter to bus stop, walked to my house and back a few times, and walked around the park while on the phone.
Finally I walked back to my house one last time pulling a wagon loaded with a full gas can. No guarantees but I'm hoping to take the field mower out and about for more walking (and mowing) in the morning. Just have to get rolling before the sun gets too high and hot.
