My Actifit Report Card: February 13 2023

in Actifitlast year

My friends and I played an eighteen-hole disc golf course this morning. It was an easy course but the wind was blowing hard so we decided not to score the round. There were a lot of throws that were pretty funny to watch. The wind carried the discs all over the place.

I tried out my new replacement Mantra disc in the wind. It is heavy enough to be knocked around a bit less by the wind but it is inherently less stable by design. The new disc seems to be a bit more stable in the different plastic from the one I lost but it is not something you want to throw into a headwind.

Tomorrow I might play a shorter solo round and test out the new discs a bit more. It takes me some time to figure out how a new disc is going to fly. Hopefully, I won't lose one right away again, lol.

I forgot the wind-fighting putter disc that I usually use when it gets so windy. (I like either the Harp or the Pig with a preference for the Harp.) I tried using a mid-range disc but that didn't work out all that well. The larger mid-range seemed to catch the wind more and I had trouble getting the throwing angles right.

I'm not sure if maybe a heavier fairway disc might be better for short-distance throws on windy days. I might try that next time to see how it works.

Almighty Allah bless you and your family don't play your courses when there is wind outside, because wind can be turned into storm, so next time be careful. Nice photographs after winter there is always a happy summer, i wish I visit once your native area in my life.

Thank you. Actually, it was a bit of a concern of ours with some of the branches getting blown off the trees during the major storms around here. Luckily nothing came down while we were there. If it gets too windy we don't like to play on that course. Recently it seems like more trees have been getting blown down, I don't think that they have been doing so well with the changes in the weather.

It sure would be fun to visit your native area for me as well. I don't think that is going to happen in my lifetime but you never know.

Allah is the best planner

Those are really amazing flower. Specially those colors so beautiful

the color of the flowers is really very bright

Throwing discs into the wind does sound like a real challenge. Do you stand there and throw multiple discs and then collect them all at once? I'm picturing that.

Those flowers sure are pretty.

It is challenging and fun. If I am by myself and have extra discs, I usually take multiple throws when I feel like it. You have to remember how many throws you made or risk walking away and leaving one of your discs behind though. When I am playing with other people I don't often take even a second throw since it disrupts the pace of the game so much. I think multiple throws are a fine way of practicing when playing alone, so long as you allow other people the chance to play through if they are using the course.

sometimes something is easy but the conditions don't support it, of course it will be a little more difficult to score, I'm sure you will quickly get to stability on your new disc with light routine practice.

the flowers you display are also very beautiful, they grow together, they look like paper flowers, they are really very beautiful

I wish you good luck not losing your new disc 😁✌️

The flowers are beautiful with their two-color petals, have a great day!

Hope you enjoy wounderful day and I hope tomorrow is good whether, wounderful and attractive flower.
