The tree looks nice! We used to do a live tree, but about 4 years ago, we cut down this lovely fir tree. It stayed up the entire month of December and into January. When we took it down, it had dropped huge pancake like piles of tree sap! We were shocked as we'd never had a tree do that before. All I can say is thank goodness it was before we put down our hardwood laminate flooring! I can't even imagine how much I would have cried if that had happened to that! It took scraping the sap with a lot of muscle to get it up! We now have an artificial tree because of that.
