Sometimes, when a blessing comes, it is never without reason.
For those who have been following all my posts, especially from July till the end of August, you will realise that being able to articulate music properly, at least for the basics, is crucial.
I was blessed when I was very little, I was able to enjoy such with piano lessons; but the 80s recession came, and my dad lost his job, and we all had to go through life differently
I was still blessed with a tiny keyboard and school music lessons including learning how to conduct recommended by my music teacher, until a massive flood came and damaged my keyboard. I was 10 back then, and after a horrific incident happened to my life, I stopped self-learning music altogether.
Never had I imagined that, though there was a halt in my life in music, God had other plans for me.
Who would have thought I would ended up manning a choir for HIS glory?
Moreover, received a pre-loved keyboard 2 weeks before I was ask to lead the choir??
Nothing is coincident indeed
That is why I will never head on without thinking and keeping calm, checking my ego, and making sure this blessing never run over my head as I kept trying to learn chords from scratch.
Miraculously, after I stopped playing for a good 6 months after I lost confidence early this year (that's another long story to tell) when my fingers touched on the keys the base notes just float in my mind.
I haven't even memorise all the key range yet, and with curiosity experimenting this (rather advanced) keyboard I managed to record a super short Solitude piece that was floating in my mind.
I really want to make this right
And God, with HIS humour , HE has been blasting this advertisement non stop at YouTube many times in August. I just copied the URL link and set it aside. Procrastinating and procrastinating.
But not any more. Through that Solitude piece HE made it clear that I must step out in faith, familiarise the keyboard with my fingers as HE instructs me where to go, and trust that HE will provide when thr right time come.
Most importantly, my heart needs to be right , and needs to be ready.
