Yesterday was very grey and at time a bit rainy. So it was a good day to go and get Kaia's food. Unfortunately for her, there was a misunderstanding and we couldn't get the food. But as usual, we could make a few stops on the way back for some nice lake views.
For once, I brought Kaia with me. She really wanted to go for a swim. But there are still reports of toxic algae in several Michigan lakes, so not this time.
We also stopped in a small park that I remembered from when we used to train here with Genepi.
Kaia's not used to be on-leash in a forest, but she behaved well.
The main walking loop in that park is short but it offers a few nice views, including this one on the pond in the middle.
I was surprised to see it still partially frozen, as the temperatures have been quite warm the past couple of days.
Later in the day, after nightfall, we went for another walk, to our usual forest this time.
Much easier for Kaia to explore off-leash.
Back home, Le Chat was also hard at work.
And that was it for the day. In spite of the weather and the missed dog food run, it wasn't a bad day, and we managed a pretty good step count. Not enough for #poprzeczka though, last chance is tomorrow. I doubt it will happen but we'll see.
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
