Hey Actifitters,
Another good surprise yesterday with more snow overnight and in the morning. Again, not a whole lot, but a few inches of nice fluffy new snow is always a good thing! As an added bonus, in the afternoon, it cleared out and became sunny.
From the yard, I could see it looked very cool in the forest behind the fence.
And since I was busy in the evening, we had limited time for our long walk of the day, so I decided we'd just go there.
I'm pretty sure Kaia was happy with the decision. She even buried her face in the snow multiple times to celebrate!
This is the hole in the wall that I used in the past to cross over to the next neighborhood and get great views of the sunset.
But it's not easy for Kaia to jump there, so we just stayed in the small forest. It's beautiful anyways!
Kaia was again on the trail of some critters and very focused.
I figured out what it was. These tracks were all over the place.
She was stopping at nothing, and ignoring anything in her way. No need to go around, straight ahead is faster...
We arrived at the end of the forest on one side, and basically in someone's backyard. Of course Kaia wanted to visit, so curious!
But I called her back, so we could turn around.
And after one last look at the sunset, we left the forest.
But we still had a little time before I needed to get ready. So we walked into the neighborhood as well, under a now mostly clear sky.
The sunset colors at the end of the street looked really tempting, but it was too late unfortunately.
And the Moon was already out there. It was time to walk back.
Then I joined some friends for a very good raclette dinner, with plenty of drinks! Not good for my waistline but so good!

It looks like our dogs really love snow, but I guess they all do. :))
Yeah, they do! You're right, I think most big dogs love snow. My previous dog, half-brother to Kaia was just crazy about it!
