Hey Actifitters,
Once again yesterday I shouldn't have trusted the weather forecast. There were storms in the afternoon forecast, but it was supposed to be done early. Unfortunately when I was ready for our long walk of the day with Kaia, much later than the supposed end of the storms, this is what it looked like outside:
I like to watch a good storm, but not walk in it, especially in a forest with a lot of weak trees. So we waited it out, and it stopped only after sundown. We quickly started our walk right then.
I like the creepy ambience the light creates in the dark forest. The trees and bushes look so different at night.
Kaia was even more ready to chase all critters. She disappeared a few minutes in the night, but came back with no catch.
It was a bit too wet and muddy though after the storms. During the day we can avoid the worst flooded areas, but at night, it's a bit trickier. So we didn't walk long in the forest, and went back to the streets.
The sky and clouds were beautiful.
Well, the mistake with the weather cost me my first failure in @poprzeczka this month. Luckily I still have a couple days to pass the bar again.

Thanks! I like the rain too, but when it's heavy like it was, it's just no fun to walk. Genepi liked it though, Kaia not so much it seems. Hope you do get lots of rain and cooler temps !lolz
