Let’s see if this posts today. No luck yesterday.
Started a natural dye experiment. The idea is to use the sun to set the dye. Only problem: today, the sun never came out.
We started Monday by soaking fleece in water with aluminum mordant.
Then, we picked deadly nightshade berries.
Put berries in some clothes and put the bundle in the jars. It first turned green. Completely unexpected!
Now, we shall see if the dye takes. Will let you know in a week or so.
