My Actifit Report Card: January 28 2023

It's been so hot in our part of the world my activity count is down and I need more rest and hydration. The perfect opportunity to test out this Hawaiian Haze Pale Ale while sitting in the shade after just getting out of the pool.

I am not much of beer drinker but this heat does call the need for more liquid, carbs and sugar.

The Ballistic Beer Company had me a the sight of the word Hawaiiian but for some reason I was expecting a refreshing pineapple taste. Though the regular hop taste was still refreshing and who am I kidding anything ice cold was going to do the job.

Was very happy to see this one was locally made in Salisbury, Brisbane , Australia

My 17k activity count was made up of a morning parkrun and swim at the beach before lunch time visit to my Mother and sisters place. Got a short afternoon walk in as well after heat midday heat had passed.

The description on the can reads 4.6% Alcohol by Volume brewed to quench your thrist. I liked it because it was cold and will be taking the empties to the recycling centre for my 10 cent empty can/bottle refund.

    Haven’t tried this one before, usually go for the IPA because of its higher alcohol content !LOL !luv

    Heard the other day that Ballistic Brewing Company has gone under, and into voluntary administration. Thanks for reminding me I better stock up.
