I still have this concern that my progress has stalled due to me lacking a formal program at this point. However, I feeling some soreness from my workouts which is new since starting months ago. It feels like that it could be a sign of trying to compensate with my concerns which I have to really think about. I continued that thought process today as I hit the gym early for some weight training. I went heavy and hit other areas to ensure I keep getting enough sets and reps in to all the muscle groups. I felt pretty good getting to work with that under my belt.
It allowed me to focus on work and catching up on things to keep from being overwhelmed during the coming busy season. I got a good number of things off my list but it came at the cost of probably sitting too long during the day. It wasn’t until the afternoon that I was able to stretch and get some more activity in as I went for some meals between meetings. I was happy to be home somewhat early as the family wanted to go for Dinner and a movie which we did. Always good to end the day with the family!
