Happy fiery π₯ Tuesday and a very warm welcome to my world of trees this first day of Julyπ²π³πΉ. As always thank you so much for stopping by yet again. It's been another ordinary day stepping it out and as it comes to an end am raring to go with my stepping and the trending stories of the day.
Let's get into all that and more, here we go again π¨.
So I kicked off the day with a little bit of stretching then a walk around the neighborhood. Went to park then the grocery then headed back indoors.
Next I got on with the chores then watched some YouTube and kept up with the trending stories.
Its been a sunny π scorcher of a day with temps touching 33 celsius in what they are calling a heatwave/ hottest day of the yearπ. In France, Spain, Portugal and other areas recorded 40+ celsius. Tomorrow temps in UK set to dip with predicted rain.
So now let's get into the other trending news of the day.
The mass murder/ genocide continued in Gaza with 102 Palestinians killed in relentless Israeli airstrikesπΏ. 15 of them shot at 'humanitarian' food distribution centresπ.
In the north of Gaza, Al shifa hospital has ran out of fuel and can no longer operate most machinery including dialysis machines. Putting patients lives at risk. Babies not spared as formula has ran outπΏ.
Netanyahu is expected to visit Washington next week, Trump says he will be very firm with him on ending the war in Gazaπ―. Meanwhile senior Israeli officials say they have received a ceasefire deal proposal from Qatar who are the mediators between hamas and Israel.
Lets wait and see how things turn out but something's gotta give to stop deaths and misery in Gazaπ―.
Trending in the UK, the govt has won the welfare reform bill vote in the House of Commons after big concessions to rebel MP's. There was so much uproar over changes to personal independence payments.
Speaking of Bills, across the pond, the senate has passed Trump's big beautiful tax billπΉ.
This after VP , JD Vance broke the tie in voting to tip votes in favour of Republicans. The last vote on the bill is tomorrow in the House of Representatives.
Speaking of Trump, today he toured the alligator Alcatraz detention centre in Florida where illegal migrants will be held before deportation.
There's no escape from this one as it is surrounded by alligators and pythonsπ. The plan is on to deport more than a million people just this yearπ.
Finally, Political shenanigansπΉ in Thailand as the constitutional court suspended the prime minister for a breach of ethics.
This after a phone call between her and a senior Cambodian official leaked. People have been holding protests calling for her resignation.
Now a temporary PM has been appointed to carry out her duties as her case is heard.
