Hello everyone π»,
Happy Sunday π and a very warm welcome to my report. The very last Sunday of October and the stepping continued unabated.
Anyways, for me it's been another ordinary day and it's now time to break down how my stepping went and also the trending stories that caught my eye π.
As always thank you for reading and let's get startedπ¨.
I began my day with some stretching moves before heading out for a walk around the neighborhood and park. It was mostly cloudy and a little chilly but I was dressed appropriatelyπΉ.
After about 30 minutes, I was back indoors ready to deal with the usual house chores including laundry and cooking.
Then I sat down to some of the trending stories on youtube, twitter and the rest.
Later in the afternoon, we traveled to west London and had a walk around Brentford stadium area.
This evening the rain is on but am glad it began just after us getting indoors, temps have dipped too.
With the stepping out of the way, let's have a look at what was trending around the world.
In Gaza the ceasefire is still holding, haven't heard of any bombings. Hamas are now working with the Red Cross to try and locate the bodies of 13 Israeli captives among the rubble.
In Asia, ASEAN trending as Trump landed in Malaysia to attend it. He also facilitated the signing of a peace deal between Thailand and Malaysia. Then on the sidelines he met Brazilian president Lula Da Silva, of course talking of those tariffs.
In Europe, France trending as two suspects were arrested in connection with the crown jewels theft.
Speaking of arrests, in the UK, a migrant sex offender has been arrested after being wrongfully released form a prison. He was due for deportation then somehow he was released.
Sources say prison workers are overworked and there's shortage of staff probably led to that mishap.
Lets finish up with some election news in West Africa. In Ivory coast, the incumbent president is expected to win the just concluded election. He has been in office for 15 years and seems like he will keep going.
Not far off, Cameroon trending as protests by the opposition got violent. The incumbent president at 92 years of age is seeking another 7 year term.
The results of the October 12 elections will be announced tomorrow, but the opposition leader has already declared himself as the winner. So will the 92 year old who has ruled since 1982 accept a defeat? I don't think so.
So that's it see you again tomorrow on an awesome Monday. Stay safe, good night π΄ and Adios β€οΈ. Hakuna Matata π».
