evening walk, continued building small solar control station, regular meditation
Dear friends,
Yesterday evening, I walked around in the park for more than one mile distance. It was rewarding because I felt lighter in this morning when I woke up. I will try to do it regularly.
Yesterday, I volunteered to support the meditation center as usual by giving a lift to the cook.
In early morning, I went to my plantation to water the avocado plants but I forgot to record my activities. And in the evening, I continued to build the solar powered control station for my new plantation site, where I was going to transplant the avocado plants. It will have a solar panel, a battery + controller, a timer, a motor pump and a water filter. It will work offline and later I intend to connect it to the internet. And I am making sure that it cannot be taken away easily; I will embed in the ground and conceal it with bricks and cement.
And I happened to successfully complete two hours meditation in the past two days.I could complete it because I tried to focus on the present not on the past or future. My mind wandered a little but I could manage it to be calm and focused.
The experience was rewarding because I was able to remove unnecessary attachments and received clearer vision. It gave me insights and some of those are
- I need to prioritize on tasks that can give me income. What I am doing most currently is for long term like growing avocado plants, that could yeild only after three years. And I realized I need to write down my income sources so that I decide to have more sources or which one to boost.
Those were some of the activities for yesterday. Other times, I did some other house chores.
