Thanks for this great insight into your neighbourhood. I did love walking a lot in Asia because you got to see so much of ordinary life - and yes, why would you go to a western supermarket? Avos are .69 cents at the moment at the cheap groceries in Geelong, and limes are dripping off my tree, so hey, my guacamole is ALMOST as cheap as yours at the moment - almost!
I hope your truck gets fixed soon, but I also hope you keep up that vow to walk more!
I just got the quote from the mechanic that knocked me sideways - have stumbled over to Hive to allow the shock to settle. 🤣 Luckily one can live on local guacamole. 🤣 If only there were enough punters left in Asia to make selling one's body on street corner's a viable option. Sigh.
It's hard to imagine limes in Victoria - so much change in all countries in the last 2 decades since I left. Sad I will most likely never be able to see my mother again.. breathing through that.
More walking. If it actually doesn't fix things and result in guacamole, then at least it calms me, keeps me fit and allows the ideas to flow.
