What???? I can understand why that would be frustrating! There's nothing worse than expecting a warm cup of coffee and ending up with something lukewarm. It's even more puzzling when a place you've been going to for a while suddenly changes its policies or practices without any explanation.

It was a sudden change from being extremely accommodating to no, we can't do that. We've got plans to try another smaller local chain. In the past, I've not cared for their hot coffees, but am willing to try again to see if the flavor is better than it was. If not, then we will have to go exploring!
The thing with Starbucks (or any coffee place for that matter) is that you are paying a high price for a drink made the way you want it. Why would I continue to pay that kind of money for something substandard in my definition of substandard, when they are supposed to make it how I want it? It's frustrating for sure!
