What is that Silvertop, in the background?😳
This is our active volcano, Mount Baker!
Silvertop had been waiting all week to hike Gold Creek Trail.
If you follow Silvertop, you know that we are off grid solar.
Well silvertops batteries are running down....... sometimes literally LOL.😅
So today before our @actifit hike, I started pricing new batteries.
I have used a particular brand called Interstate for years, and I was having sticker shock with the prices of 12 new batteries!😳
Researching online, I came across a listing from Costco warehouse. They have interstate brand deep cycle batteries at half the cost of other local stores!
Road trip to Bellingham...........You get an awesome view of the volcano from town, just take a look again at photo number one with Baker overlooking our town!!!🙂😲
Gold Creek Trail will have to wait till next Tuesday, we needed to check out these batteries and make sure that they are what we need for our solar!
The only problem, is that we don’t have a membership.
So Silvertop and the Mrs got mug shots today. Next Monday we will return with our pick up truck, and pick up 12 fresh deep cycle batteries, how nice!🤗

Yes, after returning home, and Latte number three for the day, the Mrs and Silvertop did a good hike with 53 uphill floors..... back in the heat and humidity!😅

Hi @jayna, we live between snow packed Mountains 45 minutes to the East, and salt water 45 minutes to the West. It's very nice here, but housing prices keep climbing. .... like I am sure it is becoming in other parts of the country as well.

There is no center divide in that wide major street, @silvertop! Maybe I am not seeing it. Beautiful mountain view smack center on that road! It is fun to go to a warehouse store once in a while!

This street is very aptly named Bakerview @silversaver888, and a center divider would probably make this road safer. There isn't one and a lot of serious accidents have happened here. I think now that we have renewed our Cosco membership we will probably shop there more often! I hope you're having a wonderful day my friend take care and have a good evening!!😍😍😀
The nice thing about this town where I live is the Maintenance Department seem to be always busy... repainting the streets!
