Thank you, my friend! We had very strong winds today, which was very stressful, as the Flow House, the open-air bamboo yurt in which I live that's built on top of the lava, lost structural integrity in two places, which required immediate attention. Thankfully the wild winds have died down. I feel like I can finally rest...lol! πππβ¨π€
That sounds very stressful my friend, I'm glad the winds have died down!
Sometimes in the winter we get extremely high winds as well! There have been times I've wanted to get in the car and drive to town just to get away because, we live in the forest where trees can come down quickly!!
Indeed, it sure was! By evening I felt exhausted because I was so stressed for several hours! That sounds pretty intense too, my friend, and I'd be concerned about a car in that situation too! πππβ¨π€
Years ago we had a very tall Canadian hemlock tree fall on top of an older Subaru that we had parked in the driveway!π
We were able to repair it and drive it for years afterwards but the danger always exist!!
Now that would not be an enjoyable discovery in the morning! I'm glad that it didn't do serious damage, and that i could still be used afterward. Is there a way to keep the driveway a tree's length clear on each side, so that there would be no trees that could fall on it? πππβ¨π€

Unfortunately we are in deep forest.....
We literally have dozens of trees surrounding us, most 75 to 100 feet tall!π
