I don’t usually look forward to seeing a doctor. It often means hearing something you’d rather not.
But today felt different. I trust my GP, and for the first time in a while it felt like someone was really looking at the knee, not just noting it.
His suspicion: a bursitis.
Nothing dramatic, but something to take seriously.
The advice was simple—keep moving, even if there’s some pain. Not avoidance, but controlled use. I left with a prescription for physiotherapy, and we even set things in motion right away.
Still, the next available slot is mid-May.
Another reminder of how things have changed.
For a moment that thought stayed. Then it passed.
Afterwards I went for a longer walk. Not to test anything, more to clear my head.
Step by step
it felt manageable.
Sometimes it’s enough
to have a direction again.
