Today we went for another walk in the forest. The sun was there, but the wind made it feel cooler than it looked. Between the trees it stayed almost cold, only once we stepped out it turned warm again.
Back home I started preparing a small project. The folding shutters need fresh paint. I picked up paint and sandpaper for the triangular sander. Nothing complicated, just the usual steps before you begin.
There are only three windows left. The others I replaced years ago with roller shutters. At the time it felt like an upgrade. Today it feels more like a decision that reduced future work.
Some tasks return. Others don’t.
And somewhere in between you notice how systems change without much attention.
